This week’s theme is on CHIPPED.
Born as a stray, Mama Jessica had a bad experience
when she was barely seven months old…
She had a terrifying moment when she was attacked
by the neighborhood Mafia…
The result… a CHIPPED fang!!

Just about a week ago, Justin had the same experience.
He was attacked by the same Mafia
and left me with blood stains all over my floor.
He’s still recovering from the trauma.
That’s the only good but CHIPPED claw left on him.
He lost most of his claws… Haiz!!

Jimmy had a totally different experience.
He CHIPPED his fangs because he has been too greedy.
As a kitten, he has been biting and chewing on
anything that he could get his teeth on.
As a result… he met with his greatest challenge…
Hard Chicken Bones!!

Chicken bones could be delicious to most pets
but they have hidden dangers in them.
Just look at those CHIPPED and sharp edges!
One wrong angle when biting could be fatal…

  4. Good idea for the theme. Poor chipped teeth Kitties but they still have great smiles. Happy weekend.

  5. Ahh poor things. My senior cat Robyn has los one of his canines but he doesn’t seem to mind. Happy weekend

  6. Wow, I can’t think of one chipped thing, and you’ve got a couple!
The mafia in your neighborhood is tough!

Sending chin scritches to all the J’s!

  7. Well congratulations on this post. I was wondering what you would do. But those accident prone cats did it for you.

    Have a good weekend Criz.

  8. Seeing that chipped fang reminds me… I have a dentist’s appointment later today! 🙁

  9. Seeing those chipped teeth of your cats, made my teeth hurt. That cat Mafia needs to be reported to the cat police. Good Post!!

  10. Wow! You outdid yourself this week!

Happy Year of the Ox and thanks for stopping by!

  11. That must be a terrible cat mafia ! My cats have nothing chipped, but Arthur’s tail was half broken by a bite and it’s always standing up in the same position.

  12. Great photos Cris!

I do hope you have time to stop by my blog — this month I’m helping Quaker Oats and Share Our Strength with a campaign to stamp out childhood hunger in the US!

  13. And Mommy thought we were accident prone. You have us beat by miles. ~Socks, Scylla & Charybdis

  14. once again, I chip off my nails to your creativity. 🙂

  15. Thanks for sharing all the awesome captured moments with this weeks “chipped” theme. I sure hope everyone is feeling better!!

  16. What kind of mafia do you have next door? They are vicious. I’m glad your little gang is OK. Maybe they should stay inside and just gaze out the window. Losing all of your claws that’s horrible.

If you have time, please check out my photo hunt for the week.

  17. Excellent… albeit a bit sad to see all the little chipped tooths! Sure doesn’t stop them from munching on treats tho we suspect…
    Happy Happy New Year to
each and every one of you!

  18. Wow – they sure have a lot of chipped teeth!! We know how dangerous those nasty chicken bones are too.

  19. Great photos (except those chicken chips! lol)…no seriously, I think you did a great take of the theme! My hunt is up please come and visit when you can!

  20. I sometimes wonder at the amount of cooperation you get from those cats.Or is someone else holding them down while you take the pictures.

  21. Those Mafia sound very mean and bad! I’m sorry you got some chipped teeths and claw!

  22. Silly me… I accidentally posted the link to YOUR photo on the blogroll… I fixed that.

Poor kitty. My Benjamin has a history of bad teeth and he has lost most of his. The last time, I noticed that his lip “looked funny” and when I had a look, discovered that his front left canine had broken off as the result of a cavity and was tethered only by a bit of flesh… Poor lad.

Luckily, it did not require a root canal.

  23. Great choices for the chipped theme! I don’t think I have ever seen cats with chipped fangs!

  24. a wonderful tale you’ve woven, a tale of two (or three or four) kitties! may the Mafia not spoil your celebrations… health and prosperity for everybody in the new year ahead!

  25. oooooohhh sooooo cute! well, I really hate cats but this time when i saw the pictures, i changed my mind! cats are very cute! but i’m allergic to them. i get asthma whenever they’ll come near me. but of course, they’re cute and cuddly! nice shot you got there!

  26. 棒棒的BODY,

    Happy Lunar New Year!
Have a great year of the OX, kitties and Daddy! 😀

  27. Poor Justin! That must have hurt a lot! Haven’t cisited for a while. Hope all is well and besst wishes for a safe and happy Chinese New Year to the whole family.
